On March 15, as part of the celebration of the Day of Charity, the staff of the Department of Pharmacognosy with the course of Botany of the School of Pharmacy of the NAO “Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University”, under the leadership of the Head of the Department Sayakova G.M., together with students, visited the orphanage “SOS Children’s Village Almaty” in the city of Almaty.

During the visit, a charitable collection was organized, as a result of which the children of the orphanage were provided with necessary household items: pillows, bedding, and toys. This event was aimed at providing assistance and support to children in need of care, attention, and social support.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, filled with sincere participation, kindness, and positive emotions. The smiles and joy of the children became the highest reward for all participants of the event.

The management of the orphanage expressed sincere gratitude to the staff and students of the department and also presented a letter of appreciation for the assistance provided and the care shown.
Such initiatives contribute to the formation of high moral values, social responsibility, and a commitment to charitable activities among students.
