At the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, on November 20, 2025, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Professor Ustenova G.O., conducted a lecture for 4th-year students of the School of Pharmacy as part of their industrial practice. The topic of the session was “Ways to Improve Medicinal Products.”

During the lecture, Professor Ustenova G.O. explained modern approaches to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of medicinal products. She focused on key aspects of drug development and modernization, including formulation improvement, increased bioavailability of active substances, and optimization of technological processes.

Special attention was given to innovative methods for creating more stable and safe dosage forms, quality control at various stages of production, and the implementation of modern technologies to improve therapeutic efficacy. Students gained practical insight into how scientific and technological approaches influence the development of pharmaceutical products.

The professor emphasized the importance of rational use of modern technologies and compliance with regulatory requirements in the process of improving medicinal products. The lecture helped students better understand the responsibilities of pharmaceutical technologists and the role of innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.
