The university has a wonderful opportunity to complete interesting master’s and doctoral degree programs in innovative specialties. Our internship lasts 2 semesters, and we have already completed many interesting and useful masterclasses and seminars on data analysis. My colleague from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, PhD Kalykova Asem Serikovna and I had a chance to work under the guidance of Professor Dr. Kalpana Surendranath, who works in international projects, on a scientific project in the field of studying the toxicity of plastic components.
More information about my supervisor can be found at the link below: https://www.westminster.ac.uk/about-us/our-people/directory/surendranath-kalpana-0
As well as a unique opportunity to participate in the “Gene Editors of the Future” training program for the Nobel Prize-winning CRISPR learning technology. At the moment, I am waiting for the completion of the scientific project and the submission of the publication of the results obtained in the field of biotechnology and genomic engineering.
A huge advantage of the internship is that a team of like-minded people has gathered. For a long time, we have been exchanging practical experience, sharing ideas, and commenting on difficult issues that we face in practice.
