In KazNMU named after S.D.Asfendiyarov the opening of the auditorium dedicated to Uzbekistan took place. Rector of the University Mr. Marat Shoranov noted that multifaceted friendly relations of our countries have a long history. International cooperation is an integral part of the University’s activity and an important tool in ensuring the quality of education and its compliance with international standards in training competitive specialists in demand in the labor market of Kazakhstan and abroad.

Currently, 14 memorandums of cooperation with universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been concluded. To date, 82 students from Uzbekistan are studying in KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov. Academic exchange of students and teachers of universities of friendly countries is actively developing. Auditorium dedicated to Uzbekistan is decorated in national style, sights and peculiarities of the country are displayed. In addition to scheduled classes in the auditorium, it is planned to organize curatorial hours of students from Uzbekistan, classes within the framework of academic mobility of students and teachers from Uzbekistan.

The auditorium dedicated to Uzbekistan will become a favorite place for our Uzbek students, where they can communicate, celebrate national holidays of their country in a cozy auditorium dedicated to our friendly country.
