SAYAKOVA GALIA MYRZAGALIEVNA

Pharmacist, professor, head of the department of Pharmacognosy with a course in botany

 

Work activity/professional experience. In the direction of the university, she worked for 3 years as an analytical chemist, head of the recipe and production department with manual sales at Central Regional Power Plant No. 36, Ili district (1979-1982). Senior laboratory assistant at ASMI at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry from 1982 to 1983. At the same time, she was a released Komsomol secretary of the Faculty of Pharmacy at ASMI. Then he worked as a methodologist, senior methodologist, head of the RUMC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan for higher and secondary medical education. She supervised the Main Directorate of Educational Institutions for educational and methodological work in 5 medical universities and 28 medical schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She combined work at the Republican Medical School at the Department of Pharmacology. Based on the competition, she entered full-time graduate school in the specialty 15-00-02 “Pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacognosy”, successfully defended her PhD thesis on time at the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Pharmacy (VNIIF) of the USSR Ministry of Health, in Moscow, Russia (1988-1991). She carried out scientific work in Lvov, Moscow, Kharkov, and Tashkent. She combined work at the Municipal Forensic Medical Examination as an analytical chemist (6 years). She worked as a chief specialist, Scientific Secretary of the Pharmacopoeial Committee and expert of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1994-2010). She supervised and dealt with issues of registration, re-registration and certification of medicines from domestic, near and far abroad countries in Kazakhstan. At the same time, she taught (passed through a competition) at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry as an assistant, then associate professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, with the basics of Pharmacognosy and Botany (1995-2012). Head of the module “Pharmacist-pharmacognosticist” (2009 – 2017). From 2017 to the present, he is a professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Botany. He is an independent expert on educational programs (has a certificate) at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a developer of test tasks at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 1995, she completed an internship in the analysis and quality control of medicines in Germany (1995). Since 2005, according to the credit education system Sayakova G.M. educational and methodological complexes (UMC), test tasks, work programs in the disciplines “Pharmacognosy”, “Fundamentals of Pharmacognosy”, “Botany”, “Medicinal plants of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “Medicinal plants used in folk medicine”, “Analysis” have been developed and prepared plant raw materials containing essential oils”, “Modern aspects of phytoniring”, “Phytochemical analysis of medicinal plants”, “Standardization of medicinal plants and medicinal plant raw materials”, “Analysis of raw materials of animal origin”, “Aromalogy”, “Standardization of herbal medicines”, “Chemistry and technology of natural medicines”, “Phytotherapy”, “Pharmacopeial requirements for registration, re-registration and certification of medicinal plant raw materials and herbal preparations”. Sayakova G.M. was the holder of a scholarship from the International State Program “Bolashak” of JSC “Center for International Programs” (six-month scientific internship, 2013-2014, has a certificate) at the St. Petersburg Chemical-Pharmaceutical Academy, Russia. Sayakova G.M. – winner of the title “Best University Teacher” in the country of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She completed internships in Belgium (Brussels), Germany (Cologne, Luxembourg, etc.), France (Paris), Vienna, Slovakia (Bratislava), Hungary, Holland, the Netherlands, and has certificates. Participates in grant scientific works of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and intra-university KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov.

She constantly works with graduate students as a supervisor and consultant. She also has 1st and 2nd year master’s students and doctoral students.

Area of scientific interests. Research, creation, development of new medicines from domestic raw materials of synthetic, plant, animal and mineral origin. Search and introduction of herbal medicines into the domestic pharmaceutical market. Pharmaceutical examination and quality control of medicines. Scientific achievements/publications. 350 scientific works, including 7 patents, a monograph, 5 textbooks, a textbook on “Pharmacognosy”, 4 standard educational programs in the pharmaceutical specialty. Participant in the grant work “Scientific and methodological substantiation of the formation and development of translational medicine” (Order No. 1830 of 05/05/2014). Every year, participation in an initiative topic of the department.

Awards: Gold medal of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, Medal “Enbek Ardageri”, Badge of Honor in honor of the 20th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, “Bronze medal of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov.” Medal “Veteran of Labor”, Certificates of Merit “Best University Teacher of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, “For Merit at KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov”, Certificates of honor from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc. Certificate of honor for the winner “Best Department of KazNMU” (headed by Sayakova G.M.). Gratitude was announced to the winner of the competition for the best work of student circles.

– “Pharmacognosy” textbook for practical classes, “Pharmacognosy – tazhiribelik sabaktar” in Russian and Kazakh languages

Two textbooks have been prepared for publication on the discipline of pharmaceutical chemistry “Pharmaceutical analysis of medicinal substances” and on toxicological chemistry “Analytical toxicology”. In 2023, 3 utility model patents were received.

AN VLADIMIR SERGEEVICH

Pharmacist, Master, Head of the educational part of the Department of Pharmacognosy with a Course in Botany

Vladimir Sergeevich began his career in November 2019 as a teacher of special disciplines at the Department of Pharmacy and MTD of the HMDCPR. He worked at this college until January 2022.

An V.S. graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov with honors, has the nomination «The best graduate of the specialty Pharmacy 2019» with a GPA of 3.69. In 2021 he graduated with a master’s degree in Management from Kenzhegali Sagadiev University of International Business (UIB)

Since January 2022, he has been actively working at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Botany, writes articles on the course of pharmacognosy, devotes a lot of effort to the education and training of young personnel, instilling interest in science among students. Vladimir Sergeevich’s students take prizes at international scientific and practical conferences, in intra-university competitions of students’ research papers. Teaches disciplines: «Pharmacognosy», «Chemistry and technology of natural medicinal substances», «Phytotherapy», «Analysis and standardization of raw materials of natural origin», «Fundamentals of pharmacognosy».

He is the head of the educational part of the department, responsible for educational and industrial practice in the EP «Pharmacy».

 


 

AKHATAEVA ULBOSYN ABAYEVNA

Technologist, Master of Technical Sciences, lecturer at the Department of Pharmacognosy with a course in Botany

Akhatayeva Ulbosyn Abaevna graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In 2019, she graduated from the master’s degree program of the NAO “KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov” in the specialty “Technology of pharmaceutical production” (scientific and practical direction), having defended her dissertation on the topic: “Pharmaceutical development of a phytosubstantiation based on medicinal plant raw materials of Icelandic moss (Ceraria islandica (L.) Asch.)”.

Ulbosyn Abaevna began her career in 2011 as a senior laboratory assistant of the Pharmacist-Pharmacognost module. Since September 2019, he has been teaching at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Botany of the National Academy of Sciences of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, currently works as a lecturer at the Department of Pharmacognosy with a botany course.

The main discipline taught at the department is Chemistry and technology of natural medicinal substances.

Research interests: pharmaceutical development of phytosubstances based on medicinal plant raw materials, quality control and standardization of medicinal plant raw materials in accordance with established standards.

Scientific publications: author of more than 10 scientific papers published in international scientific and practical journals.


ZHUMAGAZIEVA FARIDA NURGAZYKYZY

Biologist-biotechnologist, master of pedagogical sciences, assistant of the departmentof Pharmacognosy with a course in Botany

Zhumagazieva Farida Nurgazykyzy graduated from the bachelor’s degree in specialty 5B070100-“Biotechnology” in ATU in 2022. In 2024, she completed a master’s degree in the specialty 7M01504-“Biology” at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, having defended her dissertation on: “A study of the impact of a laboratory lesson conducted using the Socrates method on the level of knowledge of students.”

Zhumagazieva F.N. from 03/04/2023 began her professional career as a master’s degree as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Pharmacognosy with a botany course at KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov.

Since September 2024, he has been teaching at the Department of Pharmacognosy with a botany course at the National Academy of Sciences of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov.

At the department, F.N. Zhumagazieva is actively engaged in work, instilling interest in science among students. Teaches the following subjects: “Pharmaceutical botany”, “Modern aspects of phytoniring”, “Chemistry and technology of natural medicinal substances”.

 


OMARKHAN AKTOTY BERIKKYZY

Biologist, Master of Science, Assistant of the Department of Pharmacognosy with a Course in Botany

Omarkhan A.B. In 2015, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in specialty 5B060700-“Biology” at KazNU named after. al-Farabi.

In 2017, she completed her master’s degree in specialty 6M060700-“Biology” at KazNU named after al-Farabi.

Omarkhan A.B. from December 15, 2016, she began her professional activity as a master’s student as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Organization, Management and Economics of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy of JSC KazNMU named after. S.D. Asfendiyarov, from 09/04/2017, senior laboratory assistant of the same department.

Since September 2022, he has been teaching at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Botany of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov.

Since September 2024, after the separation of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Botany, as an assistant to the new Department of Pharmacognosy with a botany course.

At the department Omarkhan A.B teaches the following disciplines: “Pharmaceutical botany”, “Modern aspects of phytoniring”.

Currently, she is a 1st year doctoral student in the educational program “pharmaceutical manufacturing technology”. The topic of the research work is “Pharmaceutical-technological research of some species of the genus Linum L. and obtaining the new substance”.

Since September 2022 she has been studying in the doctoral programme in the specialty 8D10102 – Pharmacy of S.D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU.

Since September 2024 Rakhimova N.A. has held the position of assistant at the Department of Pharmacognosy with a course in botany and teaches the following disciplines: ‘Pharmaceutical botany’, “Chemistry, and technology of natural medicinal substances”.

Scientific publications: Author of more than 10 scientific papers, including publications recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in the field of science and higher education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Scientific internship: Completed a scientific internship at the Lublin Medical University, Lublin, Poland.


KHAMITOVA AKZHONAS ERMEKOVNA

Pharmacist, Master of Medical Sciences, specialty “Pharmacy”, Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacognosy with a course in Botany

Khamitova Akzhonas Ermekovna graduate of NJSC “KazNMU named after S. D. Asfendiyarov” by specialty of Pharmacy in 2016 (bachelor). In 2018, she received master’s degree (scientific and practical direction), defended her thesis on the topic: “Development of harvesting technology and standardization of raw clover (Trifolium pratense)”.

Akzhonas Ermekovna began her career in 2018 as a teacher of chemical and pharmaceutical disciplines, currently works as a lecturer at the Department of Pharmacognosy with a course in botany.

The main disciplines taught at the department: Pharmaceutical Botany, Pharmacognosy, Chemistry and Technology of Natural Medicinal Substances, Modern Aspects of Phytoniring.

In 2023 she completed her doctoral studies in the educational program “Pharmacy”, the topic of her doctoral dissertation: “Synthesis and research of active pharmaceutical substances based on nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds.”

Scientific direction: synthesis of new active pharmaceutical substances based on nitrogen-containing compounds, development and quality control of drugs based on medicinal plant raw materials.

Scientific publications: Author of more than 10 scientific papers, including 3 articles in a scientific publication included in the international information resources Scopus. Hirsch index – 1.
