A competition was held to award scholarships to students of OP Pharmacy among students from the 2nd to 5th year of study. The scholarship was established in honor of Dilbarkhanov Rahim Dilbarkhanovich, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor, one of the most significant figures in the history of Russian pharmacy, he has been the permanent head of the Faculty of Pharmacy for many years. He is the author of over 300 scientific papers, including textbooks, monographs, teaching aids, workshops, methodological recommendations, as well as scientific articles on problematic issues of pharmacy and medicine. He has more than 20 patents. For his services in the field of education and healthcare, he was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Worker of the Higher School of the Kazakh SSR”, “Excellent Health Worker of the USSR”, awarded the medal “For Contribution to the development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, etc. Under the guidance of Professor R.D. Dilbarkhanov, a large number of scientific and pedagogical personnel have been trained, among his students there are 12 doctors of pharmaceutical sciences, 33 candidates of pharmaceutical sciences, masters and doctors of philosophy.
The scientific school of Professor R.Dilbarkhanov continues to make a great contribution to the development of pharmacy in Kazakhstan, among his students: Sagyndykova B.A., Abdullabekova R.M., Isupov S.D., Datkhaev U.M., Sakipova Z.B., Ustenova G.O., Kozhanova K.K., etc. and followers make a great contribution to the development of pharmacy and personnel training.
The purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and provide social support to students with good academic performance in the specialty “Pharmacy”, talented students from among orphaned children left without parental care, low-income families with the best results in research work, actively participating in the public life of KazNMU.
