On November 10, 2025, an educational event was held in the A.P. Polusukhin Auditorium (UC–7, 2nd floor) at 38 Masanchi Street for 3rd-year students of the educational program B072 – “Pharmaceutical Production Technology”, organized within the framework of production practice.
The event combined a meeting, lecture, and training session, conducted by representatives of the international company «ZETA» LLP ‒ a leading expert in the field of design and implementation of solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries.
During the lecture, company specialists introduced students to modern approaches to the design of pharmaceutical production facilities, digital tools for engineering modeling, and international standards applied in the industry.
The lecture and practical training were conducted by «ZETA» LLP experts:
• Elena Golubeva – Deputy Director for Design and Construction of Buildings, Engineering Systems, and Networks;
• Kristina Geschwinde – Project Manager;
• Ekaterina Maslennikova – Process Engineer;
• Mukhamedzhan Kozhan – Process Engineer.
In the interactive part of the training, students were divided into teams and tried themselves as process designers. They were tasked with developing a project for preparing a product using the same planning, logic, and flow principles that are applied in the design of pharmaceutical production facilities. This format allowed participants not only to consolidate their theoretical knowledge but also to develop teamwork and analytical thinking skills.
The event took place in a creative and inspiring atmosphere: students showed high activity, asked questions, and demonstrated genuine interest in professional development. At the end of the session, all participants were awarded certificates confirming their completion of the lecture and training.
The meeting with representatives of «ZETA» LLP became an important part of industrial practice and made a significant contribution to the formation of professional competencies in pharmaceutical engineering, as well as to the strengthening of KazNMU’s partnerships with industry organizations.
