On January 20, 2026, a meeting was held at Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University with 3rd- and 4th-year students of the educational program “Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology (PMT)”. Within the framework of the meeting, a briefing was conducted on the completion of industrial internship for the course “Industrial Technology of Medicines.”

In addition, a briefing was organized for 4th-year students on the completion of the pre-graduation internship within the course “Design and Production of Medicinal Products.” Diploma projects are carried out by students in collaboration with academic supervisors at the facilities of профильные pharmaceutical manufacturing organizations.

The briefing was organized jointly by the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, the Department of Engineering Disciplines and Good Practices, and the Dean’s Office.

During the event, students were informed about the goals and objectives of the industrial and pre-graduation internships, the requirements for their completion, occupational safety and health regulations, as well as the procedures for interaction with internship bases.

Special attention was paid to the completion of internship diaries. Students were informed about the required diary structure, the rules for daily entries indicating dates, types of work performed, and acquired professional skills, as well as the requirements for signatures of internship supervisors from the host organizations, the presence of stamps (if required), and the deadlines for submitting internship diaries and final reports.

Following the briefing, students received answers to their questions and recommendations for the successful completion of industrial and pre-graduation internships.
