At the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Botany, within the framework of pre-diploma practice “Design and production of medicinal products” for 4th year students in the educational program B072 – Pharmaceutical Production Technology 03/07/2024 Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, acting Professor Boshkaeva Asyl Kenesovna and PhD student, assistant of the department Masakbaev Abay Dzholdasovich conducted a master class on the topic: “Determination of pH and density of drugs.”

At the master class, students learned how to calibrate a pH meter and measure the pH of medicines. Students became familiar with methods for determining density. The students were demonstratively shown how to work with a pH meter and a pycnometer.
