As part of the production practice for 4th-year students of the “Pharmaceutical Technology” program at KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, a master class on tablet production technology was held on December 4, 2024. The event was conducted by Urziya Sunatullayevna Alimova, Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology.

Purpose of the Master Class:

• To familiarize students with the technology of solid dosage form production.
• To learn the direct compression method for tablet manufacturing.
• To assess the quality of tablets based on the criteria set in Volume I of the State Pharmacopoeia.

During the master class, students were introduced to the technology of producing solid dosage forms using wet granulation and direct compression methods. Tablets were produced using the direct compression method, and quality control was conducted in accordance with the requirements outlined in Volume I of the State Pharmacopoeia of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
