On January 24, 2026, the International Scientific Battle “Ethical Dilemmas in Pedagogical Practice” was held online within the framework of the Bilim Zhane Bolashak international scientific and educational project. The event brought together representatives of the academic community, educators, and learners from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the Russian Federation. The organizers were the Department of Russian Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Scientific and Methodological Center for New Technologies in Education, Almaty.

Teams from leading educational institutions participated in the battle, including Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University. The uniqueness of the format lay in the fact that teachers and lecturers acted as participants, while school pupils and university students served as experts and jury members. As a result of the competition, the Kazakhstani teams Pulse and Phoenix took second place. The Pulse team included Tleubayeva Meruyert Ilyasovna, Associate Professor, PhD of Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University. As part of the final quiz, fourth-year students of the “Pharmacy” educational program at Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University demonstrated a high level of professional training: Abdiakim Aksaule was awarded a First-Degree Diploma, and Adilbekova Assel received a Second-Degree Diploma.

The event became a significant international platform for discussing contemporary ethical challenges in pedagogical practice and for strengthening inter-university cooperation in the context of sustainable development of education.
