On June 3, 2025, a ceremonial opening of the thematic classroom “Indonesia” took place at the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov. The classroom is located in the 2nd academic building of the School of Pharmacy, at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology.
The opening of this classroom aims to strengthen cultural and educational ties between Kazakhstan and Indonesia, as well as to expand international cooperation among the university’s students and faculty. This project contributes to the development of global thinking and the deepening of intercultural dialogue.
The event was attended by visiting professor Tjahjono Daryono Hadi from the Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia), who emphasized the importance of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries in his speech, and shared insights about Indonesia’s cultural and educational characteristics.
Additionally, the professor delivered a presentation detailing Indonesia’s history, culture, higher education system, and scientific achievements, which sparked great interest among the participants.
The opening ceremony brought together faculty members, students, and international guests. We thank everyone who participated in this important event and became part of strengthening the international connections of our university.
