STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOL OF PHARMACY – WINNERS V INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH OLYMPIAD “MODERN SCIENCE AND INNOVATIONS IN THE FOOD AND PHARMACY INDUSTRY”

From April 22 to May 5, 2024 in the Siberian Federal University was held V International Research Olympiad “Modern science and innovation in the industry of nutrition and pharmacy”, which was attended by 80 competitors from different countries and cities of Russia: Krasnoyarsk, Samara, Pyatigorsk, Krasnodar, Kazan, as well as students from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan was represented by students of the School of Pharmacy of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov. The Olympiad, which consisted of two stages – testing and competition of scientific projects, was held in a distance format, which allowed students to participate in the event without leaving their city. The goals of the Olympiad were to stimulate the creative activity of students and support their research activities.

Students of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiarov School of Pharmacy took first and second prizes in the following nominations of the Olympiad:

Modern technological platform in the creation of dietary supplements, cosmeceuticals and dosage forms:

First place: Myrzaly Madina Muhtarqyzy (project topic: “Development of composition and quality assessment of phytocapsules antidiabetic action”, scientific supervisor: Doctor of Science, Professor Kizatova M.Zh.);

Second place: Sidakhmetova Altynai Kanatovna (project topic: “Pharmaceutical development of soft dosage form for the treatment of joints”, supervisor: Doctor of Science, Prof. Kizatova M.Zh.);

Modern methods of processing and storage of plant and animal raw materials:

First place: Karmsak Kasym Ғaniuly (project topic: “Creation of immunomodulating tea on the basis of vegetable raw materials”, scientific supervisor: Doctor of Science, Prof. Kizatova M.Zh.);

The results of the Olympiad were published on the website of the Institute, which was a pleasant confirmation of the efforts and work of students invested in the preparation and participation in this event.
