Third- and fourth-year students of the educational program “Pharmaceutical Production Technology” at S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University are completing their internships at pharmaceutical and research facilities.

Among the enterprises providing training bases are LLP “Kelun-Kazpharm”, JSC “Scientific Center for Anti-Infective Drugs” (SCAID), the Simulation Center “Pharmacy” (SCP), and the Scientific-Production Enterprise “Antigen” (SPE).

Third-year students are undertaking their industrial training at the following sites: group TFP 23-027k visited LLP “Kelun-Kazpharm” on October 9; groups TFP 23-028k and TFP 23-031k trained at SCAID and SCP in early October; Group PPT 23-032k completed practice at SPE “Antigen” on October 13. Other groups — PPT 23-026k, PPT 23-029k, PPT 23-030k, and PPT 23-037o — are also completing their practice at various production sites throughout the month.

Fourth-year students continue to actively develop professional skills and gain hands-on experience.
Groups PPT 22-016k and PPT 22-038o began practice at SCAID in early October; group PPT 22-017 visited LLP “Kelun-Kazpharm” on October 2; group PPT 22-039o trained at SPE “Antigen” on October 14; group PPT 22-038 visited LLP “Kelun-Kazpharm” on October 17.

The industrial practice enables students not only to consolidate theoretical knowledge but also to gain practical experience with modern equipment and become familiar with technological processes of pharmaceutical production and scientific research. Such experience significantly enhances the professional competence of future specialists and helps them prepare for successful careers in the pharmaceutical industry.
