As part of World Cleanup Day 2026, held under the global theme “From Clean Plates to Clean Cities,” and in support of Kazakhstan’s nationwide environmental initiative “Taza Kazakhstan,” students living in Dormitories No. 4 and No. 5 of the School of Pharmacy at Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University took part in an environmental clean-up campaign on September 20.

The event aimed to promote environmental awareness, encourage responsible attitudes toward nature, and strengthen civic responsibility among young people.

During the clean-up, students collected litter and cleaned the areas surrounding the dormitories, sidewalks, roads, building perimeters, and drainage channels. Through their joint efforts, the territory became cleaner and more welcoming, while the campaign also strengthened students’ unity and teamwork.

Future pharmacists and students of the Pharmaceutical Production Technology program demonstrated through their actions that cleanliness begins with each individual and with the place where people live and study. Environmental initiatives like this help foster a culture of responsibility for the environment and support the goals of the national “Taza Kazakhstan” program.
