THE S.D. ASFENDYAROV KAZAKH NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES ADMISSIONS FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM B085 – “PHARMACY” WITH A SHORTENED DURATION OF STUDY

The S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University announces enrollment for the educational program (hereinafter EP) “Pharmacy” with a shortened duration of study on a fee-paying basis, in accordance with the University’s Admission Rules (the entrance exam takes the form of an interview).

This program is offered to applicants who have completed a college-level pharmaceutical education (СLPE) or hold another higher education degree (Pharmaceutical Production Technology, Chemical Technology, Medicine, Biology, Biotechnology, or any other higher education degree). Upon completion of the “Pharmacy” educational program, graduates receive a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree with a specialization in “Pharmacy.”

To apply, applicants must submit their documents to the university’s admissions committee from July 7, 2026, to August 7, 2026.

Upon receiving a pharmacist’s diploma, graduates will be able to work in various organizations and institutions within the healthcare system, the pharmaceutical industry, science, education, and government regulation, in accordance with their professional competencies.

  • pharmaceutical companies and drug manufacturers;
  • domestic and international (foreign) pharmaceutical companies;
  • distribution companies and organizations engaged in the wholesale of drugs and medical devices;
  • organizations responsible for the quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceuticals;
  • control and analytical laboratories;
  • expert and certification bodies;
  • government regulatory agencies in the field of pharmaceutical distribution;
  • research institutes (RI) and scientific centers;
  • clinical research centers;
  • medical and pharmaceutical education institutions (colleges, universities, continuing education centers);
  • medical organizations (hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers);
  • laboratory complexes and biotechnology centers;
  • organizations involved in pharmacovigilance and drug registration;
  • standardization and quality assurance organizations;
  • consulting and analytical companies in the fields of pharmacy and healthcare;
  • international organizations, representative offices of foreign pharmaceutical companies, and other organizations.

In addition, graduates may pursue entrepreneurial ventures by opening their own pharmacy, a pharmacy chain, a pharmaceutical company, or a consulting center specializing in the distribution of medications.
