Boshkaeva Asyl Kenesovna was born on September 28, 1965 in the West Kazakhstan region (Ural region, Dzhambeytinsky district, Dzhosalinsky state farm), in a family of employees. In 1990, she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Almaty State Medical Institute (AGMI) with the qualification of a pharmacist. On the recommendation of the Academic Council of the ASMI, on August 1, 1990, she was accepted as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry. In 1993 she was transferred to the position of assistant in the same department, and in 1995 she was transferred to the position of senior lecturer. In 1999, she successfully defended her PhD thesis on the topic: “Determination of β-pyridine derivatives of plant and synthetic origin based on the formation reaction of polymethine dyes” (specialty code 15.00.02 – pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacognosy). In 2007, she defended her doctoral dissertation for Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute (Republic of Uzbekistan). By the decision of the Committee for Control in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 30, 2010, Asyl Kenesovna Boshkaeva was awarded the degree of Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Sandugash Imangalievna began her professional career in April 2016 in the department of hospital pharmacy at the National Center for Neurosurgery JSC (hereinafter referred to as NCN JSC), in the city of Astana. Sandugash Imangalievna worked in this center for 3 years, from the opening of the hospital pharmacy department. During her work at NCN JSC, Sandugash Imangalievna and her team introduced the principles of hospital pharmacy in hospital settings, and also conducted master classes for regions of the country on the implementation of “Innovative management of medications in hospital settings.” Sandugash Imangalievna grew up the career ladder in this center, starting from an ordinary specialist to a manager with the right of a leading specialist.

In 2019, she completed a master’s degree in Pharmacy at JSC South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.
Since 2021, she began her professional career at the S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh Medical University as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Botany.
