Boshkaуeva Asyl Kenesovna was born on September 28, 1965 in the West Kazakhstan region (Ural region, Dzhambeytinsky district, Dzhosalinsky state farm), in a family of employees. In 1990 she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Almaty State Medical Institute (AGMI) with the qualification of a pharmacist. On the recommendation of the Academic Council of the ASMI, on August 1, 1990, she was accepted as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry. In 1993 she was transferred to the position of assistant in the same department, and in 1995 she was transferred to the position of senior lecturer. In 1999, she successfully defended her PhD thesis on the topic: “Determination of β-pyridine derivatives of plant and synthetic origin based on the formation reaction of polymethine dyes” (specialty code 15.00.02 – pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacognosy). In 2007, she defended her doctoral dissertation for Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute (Republic of Uzbekistan). By the decision of the Committee for Control in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 30, 2010, Asyl Kenesovna Boshkaуeva was awarded the degree of Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
From 1993 to 2010 – head teacher of the department. Since 2007 – member of the Academic Council and Scientific Committee of the Faculty of Pharmacy. For 8 years, she headed the research and development section at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Kazakh National Medical University. S.D. Asfendiyarov. Since 2009, she has participated in 2 scientific projects of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, being the responsible executor: 1) “Theoretical basis for the creation of new compounds of the heterocyclic series based on betalactams that have an antibiotic effect” (2009-2011); 2) “Theoretical basis for the creation of medicines of natural origin from domestic plant materials and clinical and laboratory substantiation of them in the treatment and prevention of dental diseases” (2012-2014). Shukirbekova Alma Boranbekovna was born on March 8, 1961, in the South Kazakhstan Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
She graduated from the Alma-Ata State Medical Institute in 1982. In 1991, she defended her Candidate of Sciences (PhD equivalent) dissertation entitled “Lycorine Hydrochloride in Chemical and Toxicological Studies” at the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Chemistry (VNIIF), Moscow. In 2010, she defended her Doctor of Sciences dissertation entitled “Development and Standardization of Antiviral Medicinal Products Based on Plant Raw Materials” at the International Research and Production Holding “Phytochemistry”, Karaganda.
From 1982 to 2008, she worked at the South Kazakhstan State Medical Academy, progressing from Assistant Lecturer to Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry.
From 2008 to 2026, she served as Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines at Astana Medical University (Non-profit Joint Stock Company).
From 2019 to 2023, she also held the position of Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy on a part-time basis.
From January to July 2026, she worked as a Professor in the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Production Technologies at the Almaty Technological University.

In 2016 he completed a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Production Technology at the KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov.
In 2023, he entered the PhD doctoral at S.D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU in Pharmaceutical Production Technology and graduated in 2026.
Massakbayev A.J. since 2010, he began his professional career as a student as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Botany at the Asfendiyarov National Academy of Medical Sciences. He was engaged in the preparation of reagents and the establishment of a correction factor for titrated solutions.
Since 2011, after graduating from the University, he worked as a category 2 expert at the SKB RSE Kazinmet.
Since 2014, he has worked as a manager for registration of medicines in Kelun-Kazpharm LLP.
Since September 2022, he has been teaching at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Botany of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov. At the department, Massakbayev A.J. is active in his work, devotes a lot of effort to the education and training of young personnel, instilling interest in science among students. Teaches the following disciplines: “Introduction to pharmaceutical Chemistry”, “Pharmaceutical Chemistry”, “Fundamentals of Pharmaceutical Analysis”, “Modern research methods in pharmaceutical Chemistry”, “Standardization of medicines and medical devices”, “Chemistry and Technology of synthetic drugs”, “Fundamentals of Drug Stability Research”, “Fundamentals of Toxicology”, “Analytical toxicology”, “Fundamentals of chemical and toxicological analysis”.
Masakbaev’s primary responsibilities at the department include:
– conducting scientific and practical research (practical research, patents, articles, dissertations, scientific reports, olympiads, and scientific competitions);
– checking student dissertations for plagiarism;
– submitting grant and initiative project applications to is.ncste.kz;
– posting department news on kaznmu.kz;
– completing operational reports.

Aigerim Tulegenovna, assistant of the Department of pharmaceutical and toxicological chemistry, was born on April 28, 2001 in Taldykorgan, Zhetysu region.
In 2022, kaznsu Im was opened. S. D. Asfendiyarova is a qualified pharmacist-technologist under the educational program “technology of pharmaceutical production”.
In 2022, the diploma project was protected on the topic development of a plan for preparing for GMP inspections at pharmaceutical enterprises producing medicines. During the development of the diploma project, the topics of the organization plan for the inspection of pharmaceutical enterprises for the production of medicines and development of a plan for the preparation of GMP inspections at pharmaceutical enterprises for the production of medicines were published.”
In 2024, the magistracy in kaznsu was completed. S. D. Asfendiyarova signed the educational program “technology of pharmaceutical production” and became a master of technical science.
In September 2024, a competition was held to increase the vacancy of the assistant Department of pharmaceutical and toxicological chemistry of Kaznsu named S. D. Asfendiyarova.
In 2025, he entered the PhD-doctoral program at KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, specializing in Pharmaceutical Production Technology.

In 2022, graduated from the NJSC “Karaganda Medical University” with a degree in “Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology” and the qualification of Pharmaceutical Technologist.
In 2024, graduated from the NJSC “Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University” in the educational program “Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology” and obtained an academic degree of Master of Technical Sciences.
Currently, a PhD doctoral student at the NJSC “Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University” under the educational program 8D07201 – “Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology”.
Research interests: pharmaceutical and toxicological chemistry, organic synthesis, research and development of biologically active compounds.
Scientific publications: author of more than 5 scientific publications, including papers published in journals recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education (CQASHE), as well as patents for scientific developments.
