According to the training programs of the disciplines “Pharmacognosy” and “Pharmaceutical Chemistry” lectures and practical classes were held at the departments of “Pharmacognosy”; “Organizations of pharmaceutical production and quality management”; “Pharmaceutical Chemistry” TashPharmI, where the problems of creating new medicinal substances, issues of quality control and standardization of medicines, as well as issues of studying medicinal plants in the Republic of Kazakhstan are touched upon.

The effectiveness project of the Training program includes the implementation of scientific and methodological work (methodological recommendations and scientific publications), planned jointly with the teaching staff of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute.

April 15 Sayakova G.M. and Boshkaeva A.K. participated in the Program of the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the creation of the Department of Pharmacognosy of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute on the topic “Current Issues of Pharmacognosy and Botany” and made presentations (https://t.me/Farmatsevtika_Instituti/6713).

Every day Sayakova G.M. gave lectures to students, conducted practical classes and demonstrated a master class on the standardization of raw materials of plant origin at the Department of Pharmacognosy. The process of exchanging experience in educational, scientific and even educational work took place with great benefit for both Republics. During academic mobility, promising topics and points of contact in many areas of science, on the creation and development of joint educational materials (textbooks, teaching aids, methodological developments, patents) were discussed and planned.

The material and technical base of the departments of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute corresponds to the goals and objectives of the educational organization, which plays an important role in the implementation of the strategic plans of the School of Pharmacy of the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University.

On April 17, a meeting was held with the teaching staff of the department of “Organization of Pharmaceutical Production and Quality Management” and the department of “Pharmaceutical Chemistry”, aimed at integrating the trinity of “education-science-practice” between universities (Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University and Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute). During the meeting, a lively discussion took place on further prospects and development of cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere.

Professor of the Department of pharmaceutical and toxicological chemistry, pharmacognosy and botany of the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University Sayakova G.M. and ass. professor Boshkaeva A.K. also visited the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Alfraganus University. From April 18 to April 26, teachers of the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University met with teachers and students of the Faculty of Medicine of Alfraganus University, conducted seminars and trainings. In terms of future prospects, issues regarding the implementation of academic mobility based on the mutually beneficial exchange of teachers, based on further cooperation between the two universities, are being discussed.

Carrying out such joint events contributes to the exchange of experience, improvement of the educational process and communication with teaching staff from different countries.
