Fourth-year students from the 6V10118 – «Dentistry» educational program at NPJSC «S.D. Asfendiyarov named after KazNMU» Nurtayev Amir, Darkembayeva Kamila and Kenebayev Azat participated in the “Farabi Alemi” International Scientific Conference for Students and Young Scientists, held on April 7–8, 2026. The students were guided by Associate Professor, Department of Biochemistry Bulygin Konstantin Alexandrovich, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry Boshkayeva Assyl Kenesovna and Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry Massakbayev Abay Joldassovich.

At the conference, the students were awarded a 1st-degree diploma in the section «The Future of Dentistry: A Perspective from Young Researchers» and secured second place in the second round of the conference. They presented a paper titled «Experimental and Clinical Rationale for the Impact of Psycho-emotional Stress-Induced Acidosis on the Pharmacodynamics of 4% Articaine Hydrochloride Solution in Dental Practice». The study examined the pharmacodynamic characteristics of a 4% articaine hydrochloride solution under conditions of psycho-emotional stress and explored its potential implications for pharmacological efficacy during local anesthesia in dentistry. Their participation and achievement demonstrate the students’ high level of preparation and their significant scientific potential.
