An Information and Awareness-Raising Event on “The Spirit of Symbols – The Power of the Constitution” Was Held at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology

On the occasion of the Day of the State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, celebrated on June 4, an information and awareness-raising event titled “The Spirit of Symbols – The Power of the Constitution” was held at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University.

The event was attended by the faculty members of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and students. The main purpose of the meeting was to increase the legal culture and legal literacy of students, explain the key constitutional values, and foster respect for the State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Raganina K.T. In her speech, she emphasized the social, educational, and patriotic significance of the Day of the State Symbols. It was noted that the State Flag, the State Emblem, and the National Anthem are essential symbols of independence, unity, sovereignty, and civic responsibility.

The event was continued by Lecturer of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Shulenova G.K., who provided students with information on the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan related to the State Symbols. In particular, it was explained that Article 9 of the Constitution establishes the State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, while paragraph 2 of Article 34 states that everyone is obliged to respect the State Symbols of the Republic.

During the meeting, faculty members and students discussed the role of the Constitution in society, the importance of the rule of law, justice, unity, harmony, patriotism, and civic responsibility. Special attention was paid to the idea that respect for the State Symbols is not only part of official ceremonial culture, but also a reflection of respect for the state, its independence, and its fundamental values.

At the end of the event, students shared their views on the significance of the State Symbols, the culture of their proper use, and the importance of fulfilling constitutional duties. Such educational events organized by the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology contribute to strengthening the patriotic spirit of young people, developing legal awareness, and promoting an active civic position.
