On October 21, 2026, a lecture was held at the School of Pharmacy of Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University for third-year students enrolled in the 6B07201 – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology educational programme.

The lecture was organised as part of the industrial placement in “Industrial Technology of Medicines”. It was delivered by K.T. Raganina, Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology.

During the lecture, students explored the current state of the pharmaceutical industry, the main areas of pharmaceutical production, the specific features of the industry’s development, and its future prospects.

The aim of the event was to deepen students’ theoretical knowledge, develop their professional competencies, and increase their interest in their future profession.

The lecture enabled students to consolidate the knowledge acquired during their industrial placement and familiarise themselves with modern requirements and standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
