On April 9, 2026, a tutorial (curatorial) session was held for 4th-year students of the “Pharmaceutical Production Technology” educational program at the School of Pharmacy, Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (groups FӨТ 22-017, FӨТ 22-018).

The event was organized and conducted by the group tutor – PhD, Associate Professor of the department (without academic title) Nurgali Amanbayuly Rakhymbaev, together with 4th-year student Nazlida Karimbaeva.

The session was held in a webinar format on the topic “The Fight for Global Health: in the Context of World Health Day and the Sustainable Development Goals” and conducted online via the Zoom platform.

During the session, the importance of World Health Day, key global health challenges, and the role of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in addressing them were discussed. Special attention was given to promoting the SDGs jointly with students, as well as to health promotion, disease prevention, and the development of a healthy lifestyle.

The webinar was conducted in an interactive format, with active student participation and exchange of ideas.

The session contributed to increasing students’ interest in global health issues and expanding their professional outlook.
